Effective as of the first of January 2009, the Coquille Basketball Club as been merged with Coquille Together, an Oregon Non-Profit 501 (c)(3) taxexempt corporation in order to consolidate resources and to establish another funding source through donations and grants.
In addition, Coquille Together (CT) will establish the Coquille Athletic Association and invite other volunteer ran Coquille sporting groups to join for the purposes of consolidating our resources and reducing the over all cost of each sport. About the Club
The Coquille Basketball Club (CBC) - was orgingally organized by caring volunteers over 10-years ago to provide team experience of playing basketball for Coquille boys and girls, 3rd through 6th grade.

As it was then - it is today,in that, the objective of CBC - is to represent our community ideas of good sportsmanship, honesty, loyality, and courage so that our youth may grow to be good citizens. It is the CBC's objective to provide an opprotunity for improvement in basketball skills and to develop a "team play" mentally to all players.

Learning to play basketball - at the CBC levels can help a player to develop their skills early and possibly progress to the next level of play on one of the Coquills School teams and then there is always the possibility of a greater opprotunity such as collage athletic scholarship which are available to both boys and girls.

As the players learn to play basketball - it is important that we all understand that our goal is to develop individual basketball skills and team player experience and not simply having outstanding teams.

The success of the CBC program- should be judged on the progress of an individual rather than a teams win-loss record. Players should be having fun in practice and in games.
